    Did a full distance Iron Man last fall in Madison Wisconsin. Hurt my right foot somehow while running and body was about done, got to mile 16 and someone chalked on the road “Go One More”. The amount of mental positivity that gave me was unreal. I limped the last few miles and completed the race before the cutoff. Thank you Nick, you have no idea what you mean to everyone.

    I’m super frustrated, I can’t run everyday but I run at least twice a week, in between strength training. Based on that formula my heart rate shouldn’t be higher than 138. At my slowest jogging pace I’m at around 155, I’d have to walk at brisk pace to get down to 138. I’m usually around 160-170 at what I would consider a standard pace and I can hold that for about 15 mins before my chest feels like it’s on fire. The rest of my run is walking until my chest cools down then jogging again until I can’t take it again. I do that for 2 miles and I’ve been at it for almost 5 months now and have noticed no improvement.

Kudos to Mr. Bare. He seems to have done very well for himself.     Running assists me in so many different areas outside of cardio, helps improve mental clarity and mood, teaches you to do the hard things, and also improves my lifting. I notice I can lift heavier and more reps due to running

    I used to do cardio everyday and weighed about 175lbs as well. I have a very fast metabolism and would eat well but still ended up losing about 20 pounds so I stopped cardio. I want to continue running but I’m afraid of losing so much weight again.

    That was incredibly moving! This was by far the best piece of content you guys produced. And the quotes you got from all the runners really hit home - something I’ll never forget. Especially starting at around 54m in when you summed up what it all about.
